CCTV Security Field Technician

Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

Installs commercial CCTV, and physical security systems.

Should have troubleshooting/help desk experience.

Able to provide customer service for internal and external clients.

Maintains the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).

Performs new system installations, upgrades, and additions.

Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.

Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.

Must have a strong work ethic and be detail oriented.

Must have basic knowledge of fiber optic and networking principles.

Must have three or more years of field experience or education equivalent.

Must have a working knowledge of CCTV, intercom, and physical security systems.

Must be able to read drawings and contract specifications.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a pre-employment drug screening.

Must be able to participate in various track safety training courses.

Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses as required (VKC Systems sponsored training courses)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift
  • Overnight shift
  • Overtime
